The verb to pwn (past tense: pwned, pwnd, pwn'd, pwnt, pooned) as used by the Internet gaming subculture, means to beat or dominate an opponent. While it probably originated as a typing error of the word own, it is now used intentionally by many members of the subculture. The term has become so ubiquitous in Internet circles that it is often used outside of gaming contexts; for example, "He just got pwned in that debate" or "The Doctor pwned the Critic."

I'm not through with him until he deletes his POS blog from the web forever. In fact, I'm not sure I'll ever be done.
I don't think you should ever stop this blog. I find it really amusing and check it on a daily basis. I relish the thought of another funny and well thought out post that requires creativity, which many blogs lack.

Lol, it depends on which blog you go to. TSZ's a regular Blog Star. I think his seminal "Snapshot a Day" does a great job of providing blurry, uninteresting pictures that suck.
Message to TSZ: Always point the camera's lens at whatever you are photographing.
I don't think that the purpose of his photoblog was to show of his skill. They look just like 90% of flikr gallery and myspace page photos.

BOB and TSZ are not amazing photoshoppers. They are okay photoshoppers who happen to place in FARK contests (which isn't saying a lot). The prick BOB's profile is just as offensive and bloated as sniper's blog so he needs to get off his high horse. His profile is 16 pages for Christ's sake.

I agree. In the same respect, not all of us post on Fark to show off our skill. We do it to enjoy ourselves and perhaps get a break from the tedium of daily life. We don't welcome "criticism." Finger pointing and shame tatics accomplish nothing. If anything they only serve to provoke myself (and like minded individuals) to act out further.
TSZ giving "notes" in the "Something Awful" style is as laughable as my critique of a photoblog from 2005, IMO.

Both underestimate their name recognition. Any TF 'shopper who thinks he's "teh awesome" should try posting their work under a different name, as a liter. If it doesn't get ignored, then you've got talent. If it goes unnoticed, then congrats... you may have deflated your ego enough to fit through the front door. Go see the world!

If those were my photos I'm sure that I'd be able to handle someone telling me that they suck. I've seen worse and I've probably even taken worse. I doubt he's crying himself to sleep.
I'm not defending his photos, photoshops or his critic persona but there is a difference between posting something that only a few people are meant to see and a 'contest' guaranteed to reach a few hundred people.
If you want to insult the guy, you are going to have to dig deeper my friend. But, if you can't come up with anything better, then you should shut your blog down since it's just a reminder of all the drama and that is not that Fark needs.

I don't really feel like "maxing out" my vitriol. Not that there aren't plenty of things about TSZ that I find to be excruciatingly hilarious. I've noted a few of them in previous comment sections.

That is debatable. I give BO'B more credit b/c his work makes me laugh (more than TSZ's, at least). Also, O'Blivion never started up a hate blog, to my knowledge. If he comes across as a blowhard in his profile, it's none of my concern. And the image he presents in the PSAEF is entirely up to him.

Again, that is subjective. Personally, I think getting that email fwed around lowered a lot of people's opinions of him.

I think BO'B probably wrote it that way deliberately to provoke TSZ to do something stupid. It looks a lot like he was turning TSZ'z style and words back onto him. BO'B probably didn't expect that TSZ would publish the email or use it to out himself. That's the difference between the two of them. BO'B wasn't attention whoring when he sent the email, but TSZ has done nothing else for the past year or so.
That's bull. If you compare Brian's email to his profile they are similar. I have no doubt in my mind that winning contests and being high up on the honor roll is what matters to him the most. Why do yo think he sucks up to everyone? Even if he was doing it to provoke TSZ he quotes Machiavelli and the Art of War.
Even if you forget the email completely and you still have a profile that makes him look like a huge know it all. And he puts so much emphasis on popularity and winning. Trust me, he's a huge fake.

Funny, this all started because the asshat Critic insisted that I was BO'B. I never claimed to be. Never pretended to be. All I did was defend BO'B once against HellYeahHokie. Apparently that was all the proof he needed.
But I also agree with the good Doctor when he said that e-mail didn't do BO'B any favors. I'll still vote for his Photoshops if I like them (which I do less and less). But geez. Maybe I should change my name to The Critic and BO'B Both Need Therapy.

So, umm, how does this guy do an "expose" if his blog's not open for public viewing? You aren't exactly "exposing" anything. Isn't the Blogosphere fun?

I'll give him a freebie. Nothing against him personally, explain how someone like Brian (who claims to teach at a school and says in his email that mastering photoshop takes years) can come up with such ordinary and unexceptional photoshops? I'd expect more from a 'master'

His biggest problem is that he's just not that funny. What's worse is that he almost always crams an even less funny text caption under the image itself. I'm always amazed he gets the votes he does.
