Friday Q&A

Questionable Superstition

Greetings crickets and trolls. Welcome to a special Friday the 13th edition of the Q&A. This date may be considered unlucky by most, but no paranormal mumbo-jumbo could dampen the levels of awesome we've recently been experiencing. Good-quality contests and a rise in voter turnout have led some Farkers to declare the beginning of a new Photoshop Golden Age. Which was immediately pawned for booze money, due to the economic crisis.

Q: Why is the queue so awesome right now?

A: There are many purported theories regarding the recent change in admin policy towards theme greenlights. Contrary to popular belief, the improved queue has nothing to do with any kind of witchcraft or Voodoo. Such notions are utterly ridiculous. I urge you to stop living in the Dark Ages and think with your rational mind. Obviously the recent uptick in quality themes is due to Andy Iceprey once again renegotiating his deal with Satan.

Q: How is
Cliché City holding up?

A: I'm pleased to report it's doing quite well. Last week, I unveiled a reconstructed version of Grampy's defunct website. Not surprisingly, the revived Cliché City debuted to much fanfare. I appreciate the kind words of my fellow PSAEFers, but your thanks are quite unnecessary. As previously stated, the rebuilding of that page was entirely my pleasure.

Q: Are you working on anything else?

A:
Absolutely. Whilst lesser bloggers might have been content to rest on their laurels after such an obvious hit, I'm already planning phase two. I can't say too much about it now, but look for updates in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, I will continue to maintain
Cliché City until Grampy returns.

That's all for this time, gentle reader. Thanks for stopping by. Before closing this post, I would be remiss if I failed to mention Fark's recent 10th anniversary. Thanks to Drew Curtis for building such an awesome community for us all to enjoy. A decade later it continues to be a breath of fresh air from the pointless attention-whoring and groupthink of Web 2.0.

Stay tuned for more sincere appreciation from the Doctor!
