Friday Q&A

Questionable Dedication

Greetings, crickets and trolls. Welcome to another edition of the Friday Q&A, part of an ongoing series exploring the numerous ways that I am superior to you. You probably think it's pretty easy for me to sit here in my ivory tower and thumb my nose at the common man. And you're right! It's become one of my favorite pastimes, second only to trading erotic Judge Judy fanfic.

Q: Why did you start this blog?

A: Since its inception, the Picture Clinic has been a bastion of free speech. Provided you agree with me, of course. The Web needed another opinionated asshole, and I bravely stepped forward to fill that role. It's the kind of inspiring story that could only happen in America, or pretty much anywhere else in the world.

Q: What makes your opinions correct?

A: That's a good question. I'm surprised you were able to come up with it. But then, I'm consistently surprised you can find the button to turn your computer on. At any rate, my opinions are the smartest because they are forged in the fires of my brilliant mind. As I've stated before, my IQ is at least 175 (by my own estimate). Does this make me better than you? I guess it depends on whether or not your IQ is below 175. If so, then yeah, probably.

Q: Are you a hero?

A:
Absolutely not. I'm just a simple man writing a simple blog that simple-minded people read. The real heroes are fighting overseas (or very close by if you live in a particularly shitty country). The Clinic is just my humble contribution to a community that I care about.

That's all for this time, gentle reader. I'm glad you stopped by. Thanks for letting me take some time to clarify my blog's mission statement. I promise a full return to my probing coverage of community issues in the next edition. For now, please take some time to make sure your opinions don't clash with mine.

Stay tuned for more ideological alignment from the Doctor!
